In the production of our wines, every detail matters. Since 2017, all wines produced at Quinta do Paral perfectly interpret the terroir of the Alentejo with its Mediterranean climate. On our vineyards, first-rate grapes thrive in excellent locations and completely natural surroundings. Among them, old vines of the autochthonous varieties Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca as well as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Vermentino, Syrah or Malbec.
Quinta do Paral’s pure varietal and cuvees are handpicked and slowly matured in high-quality French oak barrels. With their fine structure, fruit and rich taste, they delight sophisticated connoisseurs and impress experts from all over the world.
2017 Quinta do Paral Branco
2016 Quinta do Paral Branco
Cuvee from Antao Vaz, Verdelho, Vermentino, Viognier
Our winemaker Luis has selected four grape varieties for the cuvee, that perfectly interpret the vintage and variety of the terroir from granite to lime and slate.
The white wines have a fine maturity with hints of apple, citrus and blossoms and a delicate mineral nature.
2017 Quinta do Paral Rosé
Hints of berries, dry, mild and appealing with a fine herbal spiciness and a touch of white pepper.
2017 Quinta do Paral Tinto
2016 Quinta do Paral Tinto
Cuvee from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Petit Verdo, Petit Syrah
Red wines as lively as the modern, creative Portugal. Subtle vanilla notes, the spicy taste of freshly ground black pepper and an intense berry flavor caress the palate.
2017 Quinta do Paral Colheita Selecionada Branco
90% Arinto, 10% Vermentino
The nose is fresh and delicate. Because of its fine acidity, the Arinto grape is frequently compared with Riesling. We love the elegant exotic hints.
2017 Quinta do Paral Colheita Selecionada Tinto
Cuvee from Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouchet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah
Appealing and sophisticated: A perfectly balanced cuvee of grape varieties, which blends the Alentejo wine region with an intense fruitiness. A wine that impresses with animating fruit of red berries, elegantly harmonized oak notes and an intense spiciness on the palate.
